Nanquette ' Cheminee Art Moderne ' ~ France

Rare & unusual fire-stove from 1925 in the cheminee style. This stove is a combination of open fire and enclosed stove. The lower grill is open as per open fire grates but the remainder of the stove is enclosed as per the usual stove design. For the majority of use the doors will be open and so used as an open fire, but for leaving the room unattended it's possible to close the doors to act as a spark guard, plus of course the heavy cast iron in the body will act as a heat resevoire as all cast iron stoves are designed to, best of both worlds?
